Started off the weekend early (Thursday) by stopping by Leola’s Vintage Home and Garden’s Fall Open House!
They always have such delightful things!!!
Saturday, headed up to Warsaw, MO with friends to the Truman Lake Hook-In…….
Shame on me……no pictures except this one here…… (yes, I’m out of blogging practice, I promise I’ll
try to be better)
No, this is not a picture……this is a rug!!!!! (in progress)
Being hooked by Kathy Donaldson…….this is done in 1-3 cuts…..outstanding!!!! The stone stacked wall is just
as amazing as the horse and rider!!!! Totally blown away by this one!!!
Feeling recharged by the little get-aways and ready to share some of my own projects with you in my next post.
/Thanks for stopping by Leola's. Always so good to see you and Dulcy. Nice to see you back on your blog & love the rug. Hoping this will inspire me to get back on mine. This has been a summer when I seem to have accomplished very little. Maybe fall will be more productive.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to see you! I haven't had much of a productive summer either, but now that it's getting cooler, I'm feeling much more creative!
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you back blogging! Anxious to see what you're up to!
Cindy
Thanks Cindy!
DeleteHi Tammy,
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back among us again. Such great offerings at the hook-in. Knowing me, I have to ask about the rug Kathy Donaldson was hooking. Was it her design or by chance did you happen to see who designed it? This would almost make me try my hand at fine cuts. Notice, I said "almost."
Trisha,
DeleteI think it is a design from "The Ruggery" if I remember correctly, I don't remember the designer's name, but I do remember her talking about it. I do believe the designer has passed on since then. I should have known you would love that rug!
A 1 cut??? I've heard of 2s but never one. I cannot even begin to imagine...but it is stunning.
ReplyDeleteHugs :)
